Dark Wanderer

Dark Wanderer

Learn through grief
Dye your sheets
Blood red
Let the water fall
Let the city know
I cannot contain this

Space merges between me and them
And still I don’t move
I have written a thousand times
To start over again
But nothing stays the same
But everything does

Moon, light, dark and night
Illuminating the blindest sight
I do not warrant this
I do not covet this black mercy now
I wandered before now
And I can do it again

Slate your bets on me
We’ll lose them all
And in the quiet of surrender
I will know joy

Death is a quiet melody
A lullaby for the faint of heart
You are becoming more
Not back at the start
You wandered here
You came to be
More
